The main conditions of renting a car from RGCARS. The exact terms for your car are in the rental agreement you sign when you receive it.

Driver and documents

  • The driver must be at least 21 years old with at least one year of driving experience.
  • You need a passport and the original driving licence.
  • A foreign driving licence is valid in Georgia for up to one year from entry. If it is not in Latin script, bring a certified translation or an International Driving Permit.
  • A second driver is added to the agreement free of charge. The same documents are checked.

Booking and payment

  • You can book online without visiting the office. Your documents are enough to confirm the booking.
  • We do not take prepayment. You pay when you receive the car.
  • If someone asks you to send a prepayment on our behalf, it is a scam. Please tell us about it.
  • The longer the rental, the lower the daily price.

Deposit

  • A refundable deposit is required. The amount depends on the car; the manager tells you before the booking is confirmed.
  • The deposit is returned after you return the car.

Insurance

  • All cars have full insurance, already included in the rental price.

Using the car

  • Return the car with the same fuel level as when you received it.
  • In winter all cars have winter tyres.
  • Pets are welcome. Please keep the interior clean.
  • Road assistance works 24/7 anywhere in Georgia.

Delivery and return

  • We deliver the car to your address, hotel or the airport.
  • You can return the car in another city of Georgia if we agree on it in advance.
  • The delivery cost, cancellation conditions and mileage limit for your car are confirmed by the manager when you book.

What are the requirements for a driver?

The minimum age of a driver is 21 years. The minimum driving experience is 1 year. A passport and a driver's license are required.

Is a deposit required?

Yes, it's obligatory. The deposit amount depends on the selected vehicle.

What about fuel policy?

The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level.

Are there any winter tires?

Yes, all cars are equipped with winter tires during winter season.

Can you deliver car to the airport?

Yes, you can pick up the car directly at the airport. We have a Meet&Greet service, our delivery manager will meet you at the airport to handover the car immediately upon arrival.

Is it possible to return a car in another city?

Yes, by prior agreement, you can return the car in any city of Georgia that is convenient for you.

Is it possible to add a second driver?

Yes, an additional driver is available when registering a rental absolutely free of charge.

Is it possible to rent a car with pets?

Of course, but we will be glad if you keep the interior of the car clean in the same perfect condition in which we will provide it to you.

Is it possible to book a car without prepayment?

We do not need an advance payment to book a car! Your documents are enough for us to confirm the booking. Be careful, scammers may ask you to transfer the prepayment.

Is it possible to arrange a rental without visiting the office?

You do not need to visit our office to book a car, you can book a car online. In any case, you can always visit our office if you wish, if you wish to get to know the staff personally!

Is a free cancellation possible?

We are well aware that any plans may change, so notify us in advance if something in your plans changes.
